We are having an emphasizes Pisces energy until the end of March, and it’s a good opportunity to contemplate on what insights this mysterious water archetype can bring. In addition to Neptune and Chiron we will have all personal planets in Pisces too, including Mercury’s retrograde that begins on February 23 in the sign.
The Pisces archetype, includes Neptune and the 12 house, is taking us on a journey of moving from innocence to a place where we are connected to life with acceptance and surrender to all that life contain. on this journey we are learning to strengthen our immune system, our aura, and learning to contain things without becoming victims, let others use us and without fearing to deal with reality as it really is. On it’s way to realize the universal truth, Pisces is starting from a very subjective point of view, trying to ignore ugly, bad things and creating the ideal heaven. the problem starts when we are in our bubble but life happens and reality bites. so the question for us now is how are we going to deal with all of that and get out of the bubble. leaving La La Land can be quit uncomfortable and create disillusionment that can be really hard for some of us, depends on how deep we lived in denial. then we begin asking questions about the gap created between our reality and what is really there for us. can we understand reality in the physical dimension we live in, with our accurate time definitions, thinking we are in control and planning our future…
Mercury, the planet that helps us understand life better and bring some logic to all the chaos around us, is moving to retrograde in Pisces on February 23rd until march 18. this retrograde period of Mercury in the sign of Pisces can be much more challenging for those who like to plan and be in control. Mercury is also about measuring time , our life’s compass, but now the compass doesn’t work anymore and we cannot be in control and navigate as we usually do. the feeling is that we are in the middle of the ocean without a map, waiting for the wind to blow and lead us to where we are supposed to be. this is a time to trust life and listen to the signs and omens, and work with our dreams. it’s a time that we can learn to listen and see in a completely different way, using our intuition.
The retrograde of Mercury this time starts only a few days after Saturn moved to his annual retrograde too, and we are having an interesting point of view about time dimension in our lives. both Saturn and Mercury are about our physical reality and our definitions of time and space. their retrograde takes us to a different look at time and space where we live. the universe is still a mystery to us and what we know today can be a very small part of parallel universes. Dali’s painting “The persistence of memory” can describe this piscean reality and showing us the illusion of time as we humans created. we think that the definition of time doesn’t change, but it might be just an illusion and is there really such a thing as time? Pisces is preparing us to know and deal with dimensions beyond our physical reality. in this time if the spiritual dimension in our lives is not balanced, we can find it difficult to stay grounded. the Pisces energy is teaching us to connect our finite reality to the infinite. if on the other side there’s no balance with our feelings, emotions, material and anything that is connected to the lower triangle of the chakras, we can experience this energy as detachment, chaos and helplessness instead of enjoying the astral realms that are offered to us.
In your spiritual practice you can connect more easily in your meditations and feel the subtle body’s and energies more strongly, but you can also feel that the honeymoon period is over and now you can start the hard work of integrating the spiritual dimension in your everyday life. escaping to the spirit world without being present in the moment will not help. many that go through a spiritual way want to reach the divine perfection, but at this time we can understand that there is no such thing as perfection, at least according to our definition of it (another mercurial thing). Divinity is not perfect. God is not perfect or just good. there are many sides to life, inside and outside of us. when we can see this we can accept life as it is, contain both the good and the bad, and there are no more questions and explanations. the inner knowing of the truth brings with it an authentic connection to life and to ourselves. the divine spark is in every one of us and if we can make the connection through our heart center we can unit the finite and the infinite. the 7th chakra is our connection to the infinite, but in order to open and connect we have to balance our heart chakra. through the heart we can find the inner guidance and knowledge and through the crown this knowledge becomes unity.
