“When a human acts under impulse, as a mammal, as an animal, that human shall never be redeemed. You have to act under intuition. If that is not developed, then you have to act under your spirit.” – Yogi Bahjan
The sky chart always mirror for us the evolutionary need in time and space. It can reflect a more challenging aspects or a more soft ones, and we can always work with the celestial mirror and choose our attitude. The month of April 2014 is bringing a very interesting climax to the Uranus Pluto square. This square, that is accompanying us since 2012 until 2015, is going to turn into a mighty cardinal grand square exactly on April 22, in between 2 Eclipses.
April’s sky chart can serve us as a catalyst for awakening, evolution and awareness and be a climax point for the Uranus/Pluto square. With the grand square we can release old patterns and conditioning and pave the way to a new and improved beginning, as well as a major shift in consciousness. The grand square is bringing together 4 squares (90 degrees aspects) with 4 strong planets and we can feel the need to confront and change, but we also need to remember to elevate!
The 4 planets in the grand square are in cardinal signs: Aries (Uranus), Cancer (Jupiter), Libra (Mars rx) and Capricorn (Pluto, soon to move rx too). They will meet exactly on the critical cardinal 13 deg in each sign. The cardinal signs are pushing us to begin new cycles, and we want to move forward and to find a new way to define ourselves. We also have with this cross 4 elements activated, and with all this we can feel that the energy is working in every dimension of our lives.
Mars retrograde in Libra teaches us how to find our inner peace and see the other person as part of ourselves. when we do something, it will effect the other person as well. This is a good practice to think before we set the dragons free. To act when we know our center, and redefine our personal path so we can be who we are. This is much better to do then to project our anger on the other. “Act, don’t react” – Yogi Bhajan
Jupiter in Cancer is about reconnecting to the ancient wisdom of our ancestors, of the universe. more about Jupiter in Cancer you can read here
Pluto in Capricorn is the force that will change and brake our history, limitations, rotten governments and old unnecessary institutions. It can help heal our deepest fears and empower the feminine through challenging patriarchal system.
Uranus in Aries is the one who makes us so impatient and feel like we have no time to waste. He wants to move forward and conquer new worlds, to make a progress and liberate our mind. More about Pluto and Uranus you can read here
The Eclipses of April
With the cardinal cross we have also this month 2 eclipses that empower the cardinal energy and the process that we are going through. Eclipses are opening a gate for us, to make a new choice, to move from karma to dharma, to create a new cycle on a soul level. This is the reason that sometimes many souls choose to leave planet earth around eclipses.
The first eclipse is a lunar eclipse on April 15 at 25 degrees Libra, and will emphasize the cardinal cross as it is on the Libra/Aries axis. The Sun, North Node, Mercury and Uranus are in Aries and Moon, Mars and North Node are in Libra. This axis is about war and peace, me and the other and relationships in general. It’s about learning to compromise and listen to others, but still staying strong and confident on our path. It will rise issues in relationships, romantic or business, friends and enemies (watch the negotiation between the Israelis and Palestinians). It’s important not to brake up in a one moment impulse but to rethink about the contact before we go to war. Because we have Mars retrograde this is a process of coming closer to the other, making a compromise and taking responsibility for our own issues.
Pluto is stationary before moving retrograde at the day of the eclipse, together with Mercury’s exact conjunction to Uranus, are also part of the eclipse energy, and show us the unbearable lightness of any decision that we make. Everything is very fragile and we need to act with extra cautious, think twice before we act and try to be more kind and tolerant to others.
Venus is the ruler of the eclipse. she is in Pisces between Neptune and Chiron, and sending us the message of peace, compassion and unity. We need to heal and not be victims. So with this eclipse we can really find the way to make a progress in our relationships or to blow everything up. So think of what it is that you really want and willing to sacrifice to gain peace and heal the wounds.
The second eclipse on April 29th is a Solar Eclipse at 8’51 degrees Taurus. This is the last eclipse in Taurus for the next 8 years, and with Taurus we work on the material dimension, our body, possessions and values. Venus is the ruler of this eclipse as well, and Mars in Libra inconjunct to the new moon. We have an opportunity to be in gratitude to what we have and not take anything for granted. We learn to share our resources and serve others. When we give in a none selfish way we will get everything and more back from the universe. The aspect to Mars is reminding us to give and serve with pure intentions and not in order to get control or manipulate another person or a situation. with this aspect we might need to give up on something.
Wake up!
Many times in our lives we need to deal with situations that are uncomfortable to us, with people that stimulate resistance and anger and with unpleasant and negative events. Some people choose to use these things as a catalyst for change and evolution, but not all can actually do that all the way, and just taking a little step here and there toward transformation. There is a great fear in most of us to shake the boat we are in, our security system, and surrender to the unknown.
This period is suggesting a deeper look into ourselves, honesty and courage to handle and contain what will come up. The feeling is like we are now inside a pressure cooker that might explode any moment. We can feel that we arrived to an evolutionary threshold and now is the time to do something and release the steam. It can lead to extreme and violent acts unfortunately, to earthquakes and volcano eruptions, to a feeling of impatience and a strong will to move forward as fast as we can.
The planetary mirror is telling us to wake up, move and transform. This awakening can lead us to accelerated evolutionary processes and open the door that will take us to a new and unfamiliar road. It’s very important to keep up with positive attitude, understand what we need to work on and not put our heads in the sand until the storm will pass. This is an opportunity for a breakthrough. we have no more time or resources to waste and we need to decide where and how we can move forward.
There’s no easy way to shift our consciousness. Every time that we evolve a bit more there is no turning back. Change and transformation can happen when we leave our comfort zone and try new and different ways. Awakening is about being courageous and honest with ourselves, confront our fears and limitations, so we can do what we are here for. It can lead us to an awakening of our consciousness like kundalini energy rising. It’s important that those who progress faster can support others in the process. we need to help others to go through challenges and difficulties also in times of stress. be graceful in ungraceful moments.
How to prepare, wake up and stay balanced
An important thing right now is to be prepared for every challenge that can create stress in our lives. We need to be ready in all dimensions: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. If our nervous system and electromagnetic field are not strong enough we can get out of balance very easily. Healthy nutrition with no toxins, good sleep and a spiritual practice can help us be more resilient. This is of course good for every day, but especially now we can feel the benefits of our maintenance.
There are many ways to be in a spiritual practice and strengthen ourselves, and I to share with you some Kundalini Yoga practice, which brings with it many good kriyas and meditations for this period, which is also called the grey period between the ages. (moving from Piscean to Aquarian age).
So here are some recommendations (If you don’t practice Kundalini Yoga it’s recommended to consult and KRI certified teacher):
Meditation for a strong nervous system
Pranayama for perspective and emotional balance
Stress set for adrenals and kidneys
Meditation to face the challenge of tomorrow
and all sets to release stress.
Chanting is also a powerful tool we can use and here are some good mantras to practice. You can choose your favorite meditation with these mantras or just chant them for 11 to 31 minutes:
